 2024 HS Class The Class of 2024 is starting to take shape.  I'll keep a running tally here as it continues to grow. Sawyer Black  - Black is hitting .403 with 6 homers and 24 RBI's. The 6'1 OF plays at Wesleyan Christian Academy in High Point, NC.  Liberty has snagged several players from Wesleyan over the years.   Callum Early  - Early is a LH hitting right handed throwing Middle Infield/OF prospect that hails from Midlothian.  He's 5-11 and 160 Lbs.  Almost 100% sure he is the brother of recent 5th round draft pick Connelly Early out of UVA whom the Red Sox selected.  Big time potential here and another that the Flames will need to sneak through the draft.   Ty Goodson  - Goodson is a 6'3 220 RHP from Maiden NC.  Big physical body with a 93 MPH fastball that was recorded as recently as July 11th by Perfect Game.  He was originally committed to Campbell but will follow Coach Robinson to Liberty.   Jack Frankel - The hard throwing RH from Texas is the highest rank

  2023 Draft: Mikey Tepper : Tepper transferred in to Liberty from Mississippi State after a rough start to his career.  He got off to a shaky start to the 2023 season but was probably the Flames most reliable pitcher the last month of the season.  He and Coach Williams were able to work together to really harness his command and show what he could do.  Once he wasn't selected in the first 10 rounds it looked like the Flames would have a really good shot to keep Tepper.  However, the Nationals selected him in the 15th round and offered $150,000 signing bonus which appears to be the same that they signed picks 12- 17 for per MLB.com.  The draft has really changed with it being cut down to 20 rounds and the allotment of pool money.  They had to go well over slot value with several of their early picks but selected several College seniors in picks 6-10 that have no leverage and only signed for $20,000 each.  Tepper ended up getting a pretty good bonus at that point in the draft which
